Most of you S60-users out there will know this problem: There was a great event some days ago and your buddies have sent you many pictures and videos from it via bluetooth. Unfortunately the media you have received from your friends is not in your gallery but in your inbox.

Of course you could choose every single message to save the image, video or sound in it to the gallery, but this is very hard with many messages. Thus I decided to make this tutorial on how to save the media from the inbox more fasten to your gallery.

1. At first you need to download the application “X-Plore” for your S60 phone from here.

2. Once you have downloaded the installation-file, install the application on your phone.

3. Go to the menu and get into the “applications”-folder. If the installation was successfull there should be a new icon called “X-Plore”. Choose this icon to start the application.

4. Press “4″ on the numeric keypad of your phone to get into the inbox with X-Plore.

5. Scroll down to one of the pictures/videos and choose Menu > Mark > All

6. Choose Menu > Edit > Copy

7. Now go to E: (this is your memorycard) and click on it

8. All the media from your inbox is on your memorycard now and you can easily access it in the gallery

As you can see it’s very easy to save masses of media from your inbox to another place with this great application called “X-Plore”.

About half a year ago all the bloggers reported about an upcoming S60 touchscreen-phone by Nokia. It was rumoured to be a mid-class device, making the touchscreen technology available to the lower price-segment. The codename of this device was “Tube”. Since a few days this rumour has turned into reality with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Back in the time when there were the first rumours about the 5800, there were also rumours that after the 5800 there will be a high-class Nokia Nseries touchscreen flagship.

Yesterday there was a Nokia event held in New Delhi. At this event Nokia officially confirmed that there is a Nseries touchscreen-phone in the works! The announcement of this device will be before the end of this year and the device is expected to hit the markets in early 2009.

On the German website of the Nokia N85 I found great news. It seems that the German version of the Nokia N85 will come with the new Zeemote controller in the box.

The Nokia E90 Communicator received a new firmware. The new firmware is version 300.34.84 and as usually you can download it via the Nokia Software Updater.

[This new firmware doesn't have Blackberry support, if this is important for you, don't upgrade your device!]

The changes are:

• Much faster orientation switching (open/close lid etc)
• Nokia Maps 2.0 now built-in
• Download! application updated (v 3.1.736)
• Cosmetic upgrade to Music player
• Update for Flash Lite 3 and Flash video
• Wi-Fi improvements
• New baseline for VoIP
• Realplayer supports FLV format (i.e FLV files can be played directly like MP4)

Since I have the great opportunity to trial two devices at the same time I decided to make a photoshooting with the trialdevices N78 and N81 8GB and of course my own N95-1 “classic”. Because a photo says more than a thousand words just lean back and enjoy the images!
